Why This Mission
1. Start Your Export Journey with Clear Direction
Entering international trade can feel overwhelming for MSMEs, manufacturers, traders, and service providers. Mission India Exports provides a structured pathway that helps businesses understand where to begin, what preparations are required, and how to move confidently toward global expansion.
2. Get Global Visibility for Your Products & Services
Through the Global Catalogue, businesses can showcase their products and services to international buyers, importers, distributors, sourcing agents, and trade partners. This increases global visibility and creates opportunities to connect with customers beyond India.
3. Dedicated Support for Service Export Businesses
While product exporters such as manufacturers and merchant traders have access to multiple platforms, marketplaces, and export support systems, service exporters often lack structured guidance and visibility. Mission India Exports specifically supports service providers including IT companies, consultants, designers, marketing agencies, trainers, financial professionals, logistics providers, and other knowledge-based businesses to explore international opportunities. The mission helps service exporters showcase their capabilities globally, identify overseas markets, understand cross-border service regulations, connect with international clients, and expand their services beyond India.
4. Avoid Costly Mistakes in International Trade
International trade involves multiple legal, financial, regulatory, and operational requirements. Mission India Exports helps businesses understand critical aspects such as export documentation, tariffs, compliances, certifications, and market requirements — reducing the risk of expensive mistakes and delays.
5. Find the Right International Markets
Not every product fits every country. The mission helps businesses analyze suitable export markets based on product demand, tariffs, trade barriers, competition, and opportunities, enabling smarter market selection and focused international expansion.
6. Handle Global Trade Volatility
The current West Asia Crisis has proved that dependancy on one country or region is going to prove very costly for the country and Finding buyers in other countries is one of the biggest challenges for exporters. Mission India Exports helps businesses discover new markets by helping them understand various trade fairs, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, trade organizations, chambers of commerce, and networking opportunities to accelerate global business development.
7. Access Market Intelligence & Trade Insights
Businesses gain access to valuable trade information including country-wise opportunities, tariff structures, import regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends. These insights help exporters make informed decisions before entering new markets.
8. Support for Both New & Existing Exporters
The mission is designed not only for first-time exporters but also for experienced exporters looking to diversify into new markets, launch new products globally, or strengthen their international presence through better market analysis and trade intelligence.
9. Empower MSMEs to Compete Globally
Small and medium businesses often lack access to international trade guidance and resources. Mission India Exports bridges this gap by providing affordable access to export knowledge, market access tools, and strategic guidance that helps Indian MSMEs compete confidently in global markets.
10. Contribute to India’s Global Trade Growth and Reduce Trade Deficit
India's total trade deficit has increased 30% and the Merchandise exports deficit has raised to over $330 Billion which has become alarming. The By supporting 1 Lakh Indian Exporters, the mission aims to strengthen India’s export ecosystem, increase global participation of Indian businesses, and reduce the deficit there by protecting the foreign exchange.
